2015 was a fantastic year, this kitchen renovation happened!
Here’s the obligatory before and after shots.
Yes, that’s the same angle. Significant new flow and expanded space to the kitchen, the heart beat of any home. The doorway to the basement stairs was moved to allow the fridge to be positioned against the exterior wall and to allow the hallway to be opened up. The poor 45 degree design on the placement of the old stove was taken down which also opened up the space (never mind the natural light) significantly. The single sink was replaced with a double in the “galley-island”, proper ventilation for the exhaust fan was installed in the bulkhead, potlights, pendant lights, under-counter LED’s, pantry cabinets, ceiling speakers, subway tile backslash, slate flooring and natural gas for the stove.
Nicer staged photos to come!
